Blogging daily is harder than it looks. So many topics, not so many willing readers. I'm kind of random and all over the place. That is what I was told, just this morning, by someone I know . The challenge was just about blogging daily. Not about having any organization to my ramblings. So many things happen during the course of the day, my recall of trivial happenings just disappear. When I start this blog weekly, I'll have to keep a daily log or journal. Having to put meaning to 7 days will be hard enough, so best keep a log to help ease that burden. Just one more way to bring consistency to my life. When I refer to an aquaintence or a member of my family, everyone will be referred to as a person I know. That's quite generic and there is no bias or placement of rank and staure of anyone. If you know me, then you know how extremely hard this is going to be. The society from which I have been schooled, assigns labels to everything and everyone. These 7 day challenges stem from the need to make changes, while creating an outlet to practice my writings for the Novel I've got in my head. Maybe tomorrow I will create a story around food and recipes...why not? I love food and recipes and creating cuisine. I use food analogies and metaphors. Dessert, Appetizers, or Cassarole? Healthy or Comfort? Maybe I am going to have to dream about a dinner party you are invited to and what I would serve you.
After reading this, I realize my brain is all over the place. Tomorrow is the last night of daily blog with just noodles in the soup. The 7th of September is tomorrow. I'll probably have something to write about that is tied to my 10 year anniversary of that date. Come back tomorrow and see.

The Seven Day Journey-- Week 1e
Day five of the Seven Day Journey-- Week 1. Wrote this blog a little earlier and started a story...had to stop due fear of power loss from our most recent storm. I decided to give a total rewrite. I love many things in the field of Art..music and performing , visual and audio. When you log in to the mega search engine attached to this blog you see the iconic name and watch for the special doodles they do to observe a birthday or an amazing accomplishment. They are now into animated and interactive doodles. Imagine my happy surprise when I found they honored a singer from my all time favorite band. Don't laugh...we all have something. I could howl out his music with the best of them. Be glad you weren't around to hear it. The little animation with a song just sparked a happy memory of an angst ridden moment in time. I have little recall of anything memorable during that time in my life, but I do remember that music. Mama Mia..Mama Mia..Mama Mia, let me go...

The Seven Day Journey Week 1d
Here it is, day number four of this 7 day challenge. The 10th Anniversary of my 40th birthday is still not over. I like to use the whole 3 day weekend to commemmorate the day. I find it brings consistency. Also it's really fun to have a whole weekend plus a day to celebrate. Half way through this challenge I'm asking myself, have I learned anything yet? If you read the blog yesterday, you know the lessons I learned ten years ago. Consistency is definitely a shortcoming . So here is my attempt at bringing a constant to my life. There are always many things I have to say, but getting the timing right and rhythm are not always in sync with my mind. This is not a journal or a cathartic exercise. Right now I am participating in a 12 week series of webinar training for Direct Sellers. Also, I serve on the Board of two seperate organizations, they might also weave their tales within this blog. (Insert nod to one of my followers.)Remeber this is not about product endorsement and many entities will remain anonymous or generic. There should be a way to write about such things without product placement. You can call me out on that if I should find myself caught up in the ego of it all.
Enough blogging for day number 4. The weekly postings will have a focus and some meat to the body. Not just noodles in soup. But the challenge is just blog something everyday for seven days. Mission accomplished. See ya tomorrow.

The Seven Day Journey Week 1c
Today was really not a day like all others. Today I turned fifty. I still have 90 minutes to go. So I'm going to wrap this up pretty quick. There is still time to go out and be a rebel rouser...( Insert laughter here). Today was the tenth anniversary of my 40th birthday. A year I will not soon forget. In fact, I could give you a daily log of what I was doing the first 16 days of September in 2001. Ten years ago for my birthday I was prepared a rocking rib dinner. Tonight I had a wonderful and delicious rib dinner. Ten years ago , I was supposed to be at a premiere hotel on a fabulous island for my 40th birthday. What happened to that plan? Let's just say as you age there are different kinds of momentous occasions. That was the year for one of those occasions. In fact September 2001 was the month of several momentous occasions. If I can say I learned anything from that snippet of time, I would say.... Never take anything or anyone for granted. Leave more than you take. Give as though you will never receive again. Keep the glass full to overflowing. And always take time to watch your grass grow. You will be surprised what you learn about yourself and others when you do that. This is day 3 of my Seven Day Journey Week 1. Come back tomorrow for a report on my outing tonight.

The Seven Day Journey Week 1b
It's day two of seven straight blogging days. I have so much to say. It is Labor Day Weekend and a major event in my life usually falls during that time frame. Tomorrow is my birthday...the Big Five-Oh. The writer's campaign and this blog couldn't have been at a better time. The Perfect Storm so to speak. I've always wanted to write a book, but really could not decide what I wanted to say. Since 2006, I've been trying to connect to my purpose and what I've accomplished. Defining myself in a different perspective. I watched a documentary about a man that ate fast food for 30 days. He videotaped his journey. I was inspired to make changes. He went on to have a TV show about doing something for 30 days. Fast forward a few years, I watched a movie about a young woman that blogs everynight for one year after cooking something from a phenomanal cookbook by a fantastic chef. Also inspiring, I'm a bit of a foodie. Then this week it hit me..why not combine the experiences. So my interpretation of the 2 events...Blog weekly about a 7 day challenge that could potentially make life better. Do that for 1 year..starting on your 50th birthday. OK..so I started two days earlier..but you get the idea. This blog will also have limited to zero amount of product placemant. The sole reason I did not name any names above. If you are curious as to what I'm referencing, there is always room in the comments for answers. And my last salute goes to fellow campaigners that are following me. Thank you for your vote of confidence, as I will be following you too. Please help me figure out how to make comments. The post box always is denied access and I have no clue how to make that work.

The Seven Day Journey Week 1a
Welcome everyone to The Seven Day Journey. You can follow me on this journey over the course of seven days for the next twelve months. To be honest it will be at least 52 journeys spanning over the next 365 days. Every seven days I will challenge myself to complete a random life enhancing task daily for seven days. There will be a blog about the journey, and I will allow myself 48 hours to have it posted. The first journey starts tonight, the 1st of September 2011. The first challenge......blog something everyday for 7 days. Seems simple enough. Insert laughter here.....I have issues with consistency. Come back tomorrow night for another taste of the journey.
